Organic makeup favorites

Since I use some sort of makeup almost everyday it feels even more important to use products that are kind to my skin. Like many other Scandinavians I have a quite sensitive and dry skin and moisture is top priority for me. I always use organic skin care products but it has been difficult to find really good makeup products that are both organic and natural. After a lot of trial and error I have finally found the perfect products for me and my skin.

For my everyday makeup look I need 6 products; foundation, concealer, eyebrow pencil, blush, mascara and lipstick/lipgloss. All from the Swedish brand Maria Åkerberg. Of course a perfect base is the key to everything, so that’s where I start.

After applying the foundation, concealer (cover stick) and blush I continue by adding some color to my eyebrows. If not, they are barely visible. I use to say that if I could use only one makeup product it’d be my eyebrow pencil. The next step is to apply mascara and finally some color to my lips.

I’m a big fan of this natural trend that has been going on for some time now. At least when it comes to my everyday look. I use neutral colors, both when it comes to my face and my nails. Not using that many products also has another advantage – it takes almost no time to get ready in the morning.
